Frequently asked questions
What counts as a server?
One server is one connected game server reporting in to RookHelm. If you run three game server processes on the same machine, each one counts separately.
Can I import from SourceBans++?
Yes, full ban history import is available on every tier including Free. Bans are never capped on any tier, so there is no import wall regardless of how large your existing history is.
Is there a free trial?
During the beta, RookHelm is free for everyone and launch pricing is published upfront. When paid launch opens, every signup gets a 14-day Community trial with no card required. After the trial the account settles to Free. Your data is never deleted.
Are bans ever capped?
No, on any tier. RookHelm meters on servers, admin seats, and capability, never on the core job. Capping bans would punish the communities getting the most value and break migration from SourceBans++.
Can I use my own domain?
Community and above can put the public ban-lookup page on their own domain with custom branding — logo, colors, and header text. Full white-label (removing RookHelm branding across the entire product) is planned for the Hoster tier.
